ABSTRACT

In the present study, isolate CHII(II)K7 was isolated from the rhizosphere soil of Ocimum sp. from Haridwar. It exhibited PGP traits for production of ammonia and IAA, antifungal activity, phosphate solubilisation and heavy metal tolerance. Results of this study suggested that CHII(II)K7 can be used as an efficient bioinoculant for sustainable agriculture.
Key words : PGPR, IAA, antifungal activity, bio-inoculant, heavy metal tolerance
