ABSTRACT

The present study was conducted to assess the effect of foliar application of water soluble fertilizers NPK on growth and yield of cabbage. Plant height recorded at 30, 60 DAT (days after transplanting) and at harvest was 31.7, 36.9 and 48.5 cm, respectively, found highest with the recommended dose (RD) of fertilizer application. Data also revealed that maximum average boll weight and boll yield were recorded at RD of fertilizer application followed by 85% RDN basal + NPK foliar at 20, 40 and 60 @ 4 ml/l water. Lowest plant height, boll weight and yield were recorded in control (without fertilizer) treatment.
