ABSTRACT

The article presents the results of studying the influence of the Reasil Humic Health preparation based on the humic acids extracted from leonardite on the productive performance and physiological parameters of broiler chickens of KOBB-500 cross with an initial live weight of 166.0±3.1 g. During the research, experimental groups of broiler chickens 1 and 2 at the age from 7 to 35 days received the Reasil Humic Health product with the combined feed in the amount of 2 and 6 g per 1.0 kg of feed, respectively. The research showed a positive effect of the Reasil Humic Health preparation on the productivity of broiler chickens. A trend to increase the total protein concentration in the blood was observed, as well as changes in the composition of the digestive tract microflora, which manifested themselves in a decreased amount of strains of coliform bacteria and enterococci, but did not have impact on the representatives of the lactic acid flora in the intestine. The data of the digestion trial showed that the protein part of the feed was better digested under the influence of the introduced additive, which had resulted in an increased rate of chickens’ growth in the experimental groups, and manifested itself in an increased average daily weight gain and a decreased feed conversion, compared to the reference. The data showed that for increasing the productivity of broiler chickens and reducing feed conversion, 2 g of the Reasil Humic Health product were to be introduced for each 1.0 kg of the combined feed.
