ABSTRACT

A field experiment was conducted to determine effect of fly ash with organic and inorganic amendments on growth attributes of maize crop under Punjab agro-climatic condition during kharif season of 2018 in randomized block design (RBD) with three replications and eight treatments. The sources of nutrients applied were various combinations of poultry manure, fly ash and recommended dose of fertilizer. Results revealed that all the treatments showed positive influence over control with respect to plant height, number of leaves, stem girth, dry matter accumulation and number of plants running in meter. The application of RDF+poultry manure (T2 : 100% RDF+100% poultry manure) was found to exert best results, followed by T3: 10% fly ash+90% RDF+90% poultry manure.
