ABSTRACT

The article presents the result of the studies that allowed identifying the most effective types of fertilizers
applied in the form of top-dressings in potatoes, allowing to improve the growth, development and parameters
of photosynthetic activity, commodity and seed productivity of plantations and quality of tubers that could
be recommended for improving the productivity of potatoes. The highest yield of 37.6 t/ha was obtained in
the option where fractional application of calcium nitrate in the 15+15 doses had been used for topdressing with an average plant height of 59.9 cm, density of plant stand of 168.5 thousand units/ha, the
leaf area of 46.8 thousand m2/ha and NDVI of 0.92 units.
