ABSTRACT
The article presents the results of 73 winter wheat samples of various ecological and geographical origins from the world collection of the All-Russian Institute of Plant Industry named after N. I. Vavilov and varieties from other research institutions. Genetic sources of biological and economically valuable traits have been obtained for productivity and disease resistance. Attention was mainly paid to the samples resistance to Fusarium head blight. The study was conducted in the experimental field of the North Caucasus Research Institute of Mining and Foothill Agriculture from the period of 2016. 46.5% of the studied variety samples showed an average resistance to Fusarium head blight. Four variety samples, or 5.5% of the total number of the studied variety samples were highly resistant : Schedranyva (Ukraine), Ringo Star (Hungary), Sumaiaut (China) and KS 8018-7-2 (USA).
