ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to determine the chlorophyll content on three accessions of Centella asiatica L. and the effect of various doses of chicken manure on the total chlorophyll content on three accessions
of C. asiatica. Planting was carried out in Jumantono experimental field, Faculty of Agriculture, Sebelas Maret University in April-June 2019. The planting of C. asiatica was done in a complete randomized factorial design (CRD), with the first factor as the accession (C) with three levels (C1, C2 and C3). The second factor was chicken manure with four dosage levels : P1 : 0 t/ha, P2 : 10 t/ha, P3 : 15 t/ha and P4 : 20 t/ha. Analysis of total chlorophyll was conducted when the plant was eight weeks old. Chlorophyll analysis was conducted at the Laboratory of Plant Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Gadjah Mada. The accession 2 showed the highest total chlorophyll content of 1.98 mg/g, then the accession 3 with a total of chlorophyll content 1.89%, while the accession 1 contained the lowest total chlorophyll in the amount of 1.71 mg/g. Adding chicken manure affected all three accessions. Increased levels of chicken manure treatment had no significant effect on chlorophyll levels in three accessions of C. asiatica.
