ABSTRACT
This paper presents the results of an assessment of the state of gene pools of the Kazakhstan cenopopulations
of a rare plant species –Adonis wolgensis Stev. The samples for research were collected in five cenopopulations
of Northern Kazakhstan. Detection of genetic DNA polymorphism was performed using the inter-simple sequence repeats method. The most effective primers were selected for the studied species that allowed obtaining replicable results. In total, more than 450 analyses were performed (including repeated studies). As a result, multiple genomic labelling of five A. wolgensis cenopopulations was carried out. The main indicators of genetic diversity (the structure and differentiation of populations, the type and state of gene pools) of the studied populations were determined. The study of the genetic diversity of rare plant species and the assessment of their state will make it possible to recommend scientifically based measures for the preservation of their gene pools.
