ABSTRACT

In 2018, on the basis of the production and demonstration ground of the Zarechnoye experimental farm in the Kostanay region, a demonstration plot for precision farming was created. The aim of the study was the adaptation of elements of precision farming technology that allows achieving spring wheat yield of 20c/ha and a 2.0 to 2.5 time increase in labour productivity in crop production through the use of modern technologies and precision farming techniques. To assess the initial state of the soil and the content of the main nutrients, an agrochemical examination was carried out in the spring before sowing, and the variability of soil fertility was determined. It was discovered that the heterogeneity of N, P, K and S content in the fields at the time of sowing was high in subcompartments (coefficient of variation for NO3 29.7; P2O5 31.5; K2O 25.7). Digital maps were constructed for the area of 2000 ha based on the variability of the main nutritional elements (the area was divided into a grid of 10 ha subcompartments), the sampling layer was 0 to 20 cm. An agrochemical survey was performed using this coordinate system. The data of agrochemical surveys were put into the information-analytical service.
